Lake Mary - Brighton Ski Resort

At the head of Big Cottonwood Canyon
Salt Lake City, Utah
Lake Martha

Behind Brighton Ski Resort are three lakes;
Lake Mary, Lake Martha, and Lake Catherine.
Lake Catherine is near Catherines Pass,
a point where three canyons converge,
Big Cottonwood, Little Cottonwood, and American Fork.

We saw dozens of squirrels and chipmunks and one whistlepig.
Both lakes were swarming with mosquitos, but it was well worth the itches.

So bittersweet for me. I look at these pictures and want to quit my job and
return to my youth. I moved to WA after living and enjoying the Wasatch and
Uintas and Southern Utah for 15 years. You have made me homesick. Excellent
