Lookout Peak

Horned Lizards

Orson Pratt's Lookout Peak
To get to Lookout Peak : Drive north up Mountain Dell Canyon,
park above Affleck Park (or pay $5 and park inside),
hike down to Reserved area 3 or just walk west and cross the stream.
Walk north down this road until you see a metal gate behind an outhouse
(I think it 's the fourth outhouse). Follow this trail south.
The trail gradually curves west and comes to a four-way intersection atop a plain. Turn right or north.
The hill you are facing now is Lookout Point.
The trail will start to head toward Killyon Canyon, at some point you'll need to start bushwacking up the hill through the animal trails.
Bring a tripod, if you want pictures.
