Dale,
In trying to explain So. Utah's red mountain to a young woman from the Cote D'Ivoie(what we call the Ivory Coast)I decided to look on the internet. I did not find your web site until later in the evening, but it makes me homesick for my beautiful state of Utah. Your site is amazing, and it will give me hours of nostalgia. We have been in Africa for the past 18 months, and will soon return home. I can not wait to drive into the hills and see those familiar places I call home. Thank you for sharing your talent and beauty with us. My husband is an artist, and has painted a few of the areas you have photographed. What an amazing earth we all share.

I went to South High School in SLC (45). You can see I'm not so young but I love your beautiful pictures and come back to your site often for a combined aesthetic and nostalgia trip!

Hello Dale, I am doing a painting for a women in utah who hikes the Wasatch Range regularly. I have taken some of my own photos while I was in Utah, but none of them have mt olympus in them...would it be possible to use a few of the fall colors on Mt Olympus for reference? I will not copy exactly, it is to get the look of utah in the fall, in an area she is familiar with. If I can, let me know...
This is quite a collection of photos...
thanks
Carrie

very kind hearted! I had to take a break from studying, plus venacular people are getting to me. I would like to see someone explain how the beauty of nature is felt. It's different everywhere, thanks for taking time to help others recall it.

Good to see some new images on the site. It's been a while since I've stopped in. I love Utah, though I've only been there twice. But I'll be down in Escalante come spring; I'm really looking forward to it.
