From Camelback Mountain looking north.




Looking east toward Four Peaks Mountain (45 miles east of Phoenix).
Starting from the left: Brown's Peak 7,657' Amethyst Peak 7,642',
unnamed 7,572' and unnamed 7,524'.
There is a high quality amethyst mine on this mountain.

From near Flagstaff looking at the San Francisco Mountains
which form a ring around an ancient caldera, or volcano rim.
Humphrey's Peak, is the tallest mountain in Arizona at 12,633'
To hike, it takes 4.5 miles from the Arizona Snow Bowl to the summit.
