The hike is four miles both ways, rising over 2,500 feet.
White Pine Lake sits at an elevation of 10,000 feet.

On the way back down we were confronted with a young male moose,
a few loud noises and a light convinced him to move aside.

Rainbow over Red Top Peak,
the gold would be located at the base of White Baldy Peak.

White Baldy, the fourth highest summit in Salt Lake County at 11,321.

Red Top Peak, behind this peak is American Fork Twin Peaks,
The tallest point in Salt Lake County at 11,489.

From White Pine Lake, you can see Twin Peaks, Sunrise,
and Dromedary.
