Dale, This was the only info I could come up with, other than there are 2 Allen Lakes, the other one being near Mount Emmons. I believe the one I want are at these coordinates. Would this help you in getting me directions? I got this article off of a fishing website: "Allen Lake can be found on the Hayden Peak USGS quad topo map. Allen Lake is a lake in Duchesne County in the state of Utah. The latitude and longitude coordinates for this lake are 40.6577, -110.7618 and the altitude is 10394 feet (3168 meters)."
