Mexican Hat, Valley of the Gods, Moki Dugway, Muley Point, and Monument Valley are all minutes from each other. despite their proximity to each other, the entire area , with the exeption being Monument Valley, remains relatively unvisited.

Also nearby is the rarely visited state park, Natural Bridges, Glen Canyon, Henry Mountains, Hanksville, Goblin Valley, and many other sights and scenes along the way.

Monument Valley resides inside the largest Indian Reservation in the U.S.. This park is one of the most photographed, and video taped in the world, well it was, now they charge you a percentage for any commercial use.

Mexican Hat is mostly known for the giant balanced rock seen from the road, but just as amazing is the Navajo Tapestry Mountain, that displays an incredible array of colors, and strata.

The Valley of the Gods is a free park that requires an off-road vehicle. Inside are many pillars, mesas, hoodoos and pyramids. One could get lost in there, and many do, so be careful.

The most magnificent scene in the area would have to go to the Goosenecks. It's free, it's windy, usually a bit cold, but it's amazing. The path of the river 1500 feet below undulates so tightly that the water only progresses 1 mile forward, for each mile of water. This river, The San Juan, goes NORTH through this area, one of the only ones to do so.

The best way to view the Goosenecks would probably be to stand on top of a camper or other high view point. There is a way to climb down below as well from near the main view point.

Another place to see the Goosenecks, is from Muley Point atop Cedar Mesa. Climbing Cedar Mesa will take you through the world famous Moki Dugway. This is the steepest paved, maintained, 3 miles in America. People come to this area to see this section of road alone.

Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I'm not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I'm thinking about setting up my own but I'm not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Appreciate it
